Warriors get even with the Celtics in an emphatic 107-88 victory led by Stephen curry in the NBA Finals!

After a devastating loss of Game 1 , the Golden State Warriors are back on track after their 107-88 win in Game 2 of the 2022 NBA Finals on Sunday.

Stephen Curry, who came off a 34-scored 29 points on 9-for-21 shooting from the field, 6-for-7 from the foul stripe and 5-for-12 from behind the 3-point line.

In the third quarter, when the Golden State outscored Boston 35-14, head coach Steve Kerr, praised Curry calling him “breathtaking!”.

The Boston defense that had out shadowed Curry over the final three quarters of Game 1, were useless in Game 2.

The Warriors long anticipated trio- Curry, Thompson and Green, were good to see co-ordinating in the NBA Finals.

However, Klay Thompson, is still in dire need to up his game. Following his terrible lower body injury, that refrained him from playing for the past seasons.

In the entirety of 69 minutes of the game he played, he has just scored 10 of his 33 shots from the floor, and hit just four of his 15 attempts from long range.

Draymond Green, hit a total of  nine points (on 2-of-3 shooting) and adding five rebounds and seven assists, in the game’s entirety, but was an absolute nightmare as a defense.

For the Celtics, Jayson Tatum graced with 28 points and six rebounds, but it was hardly enough as only two other players from Celtics were able to score in double figures.

For Game 3, with the play shifting for the Celtics, they are definitely going to need a better defense against the Warriors’ three-point shooters.

“It is what it is,” the 5-time NBA All-star player playing for Celtics, Horford said. “On to Game 3. I can’t wait to get to the Garden. I know it’s going to be rocking.”
