Popular Netflix series ‘Squid Game’ gets a green light for S2!
The world-wide popular series Squid Game has been confirmed on Sunday to come back for season 2.
Director, writer and executive producer Hwang Dong-hyuk, issued a letter to fans where he announced this.
"The Front Man returns. Season 2 is coming." He said in the letter.
"Squid Game" is a fictional drama series from South Korea, where the participants desperately in need of money play children's games to win cash prizes, or death in return.
Seong Gi-hun, is the main protagonist of the series, who is a divorced gambler.
Other characters like Cho Sang Woo, Kang Sae Byeok, Lee Yoo Mii were some of the most loved characters ever!
In the letter, director also teased the return of new characters and even the old ones.
"The man in the suit with ddakji might be back," he wrote, referring to the mysterious salesman in the series who recruits desperate players to the game show.
Cheol-su, the "boyfriend" of the show's terrifying animatronic doll who shoots and kills people, Young-hee, is also said to come back this season.
