Nilesat 301, a communication satellite, launched by SpaceX!

SpaceX launched a communications satellite on June 8, and recovered its Falcon 9 rocket at sea.

Falcon 9 rocket was recovered in its first stage.

Falcon 9 was set to ricochet from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida, carrying a Nilesat 301 satellite at 5:04 p.m. on Wednesday.

The rocket's first stage booster returned back to Earth in only about 8 minutes and 45 seconds after launch .

It touched down on SpaceX's Just Read the Instructions droneship, positioned in the Florida Coast.

Nilesat 301 is a multi-purpose broadcasting satellite owned & operated by an Egyptian company,Nilesat.

It is set to operate in a geostationary orbit, delivering television, radio and Internet signals, to users over North Africa and Middle East.

Nilesat 301 will also replace is former satellite and is expected to have a service span of 15 years.

SpaceX has had the busiest year this 2022, and is expected to launch 6 more Falcon 9 missions.
