Mystery rocket moon crash creating double crater!
A mystery rocket has crashed onto the moon surface forming a double crater instead of a single one on the surface.
And the craziest part; No one’s owning up for it!
NASA’s scientists are baffled on who was behind the launch.
It’s impact is said to have reached over two distinct areas.
The vast hunk of metal was travelling at 3.3 miles a second when it smashed into the Lunar surface on March 4.
Recent images by Nasa's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter show that the impact was unlike anything they had ever seen before.
Scientists believe that the two large masses on each end of the rocket may have caused the craters, but it’s highly unusual.
Astronomers had anticipated the crash after spotting the unidentified rocket on a collision course with the Moon late last year.
It finally hit the moon near the Hertzsprung crater, a "complex" impact crater on the farthest moon side.
