Bollywood’s beloved KK deceased at 53!

India’s beloved singer, Krishnakumar Kunnath, popularly known as KK, has been deceased unexpectedly on Tuesday night after performing at a concert.

KK, 53, has sung hundreds of hits dated back to the 1990s.

He is considered to have collapsed at his hotel in Kolkata city and was rushed to a hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.

The cause of the death is still unidentified, but speculations have surfaced that it may be because of a sudden heart stroke.

India’s Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, also tweeted his grief at the singer's "untimely demise".

"His songs reflected a wide range of emotions and struck a chord with people of all age groups. We will always remember him through his songs," said Modi..

KK was born in Delhi in 1968, where he began his career singing advertising jingles – singing more than 3,500 of them before getting his big break in Bollywood cinema music.

Friendship, bonding, brotherhood and bittersweet nostalgia were the recurring themes in his music.

He has also given a lot of romantic songs to Bollywood, like Tadap Tadap Ke, Das Bahane Kar ke legaye dil, Khuda Jaaney, Tu Hi Meri Shab Hai, Kya Mujhe Pyaar Hai, and so on.

His fellow colleagues like Pritam, Vishal Dadlani and Emraan Hashmi also went on to Twitter to express their grief!.
